Person of the Year 2011

Each year Time magazine devotes its final issue of the year to a feature honoring a "Person of the Year". This is the person who, in the opinion of Time's Editorial Staff, had the most impact on the world in that year- for good or for bad. It is a very compelling lookback on the year to honor the individuals that mattered- as all nominees are profiled.

Until the announcement is made, feel free to make and explain your own nominations for Person of the Year. Once the issue is released, then discuss what you think about the final decision- and consider other nominees who didn't make the finals.
